Raw Manure Added:

October 15, 2015
120 day rule ended February 12, 2016

2016 manure practices:

Rabbit manure is added to the worm bins.
The worms process the rabbit manure.

Other Soil Amendments:

  • Epsom salt
  • Zinc
  • Iron
  • Comfrey
  • Mixed grass
  • Veggie compost

Pesticides Used:

None since Dec. 2012. Unknown if previous owner used pesticides.

Tillage Practices:

No till method.

Soil Compaction Prevention:

  • Raised beds with adequate foot paths around beds.
  • Layered beds with wood chips.
  • Earth worms.
  • Minimal walking on the garden beds.

Erosion Control:

  • Wood chips keep the ground covered.
  • Dry creek with rocks manages storm water flow
